Blogger Steve Gilliard, one of the most consistently worthwhile reads on the internets, is seriously ill and facing open-heart surgery. His partner Jen is keeping The News Blog updated with help from an all-star line up of the best writers on the nets. I sincerely hope that he'll make a quick recovery and be back on his feet soon.
